Aqua Kids swim
Terms and conditions
Contract will be signed from Augusts 2026 - June 2027.

No termination of contract if it is seasonal orientated only in case of long-term illness, relocation to new province and special. circumstances as agreed by both parties. If swimmer cannot attend due to certain reasons, fees must still be paid in order to keep, swimmer's space in time slot.

• TERMINATION OF LESSONS:
One calendar month's 30 days written notice is required in the event of termination.
No notice will be accepted during November, December, April and May.

Notice must be given latest on the 3rd of each month.

Marie Pieterse shall always have the right to change time schedules of classes and/or cancel classes with due notice. If any legal or other action is taken by Marie Pieterse to recover any amounts due in terms of the contract, and whether such action has commenced or not, the parent/legal guardian agrees on that

PAYMENTS:
Monthly fees and payments must be paid in advance.
Payments must be paid before the 1st of each month or the latest on the 7th of the month.
A penalty of R30.00 per child will be added to your account for any late payments.
Full monthly fees must be paid for December, January, May and June.
NO refunds will be considered.
Payments can be made by cash, direct deposit, or an EFT.
ONLY use your "ACCOUNT CODE" as reference when making payment.

• VIEWING OF LESSONS:
PARENTS / LEGAL GUARDIANS MAY ONLY WATCH DURING THE FIRST LESSON OF EACH MONTH. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FOLLOWING RULES ARE FOR SAFETY REASONS. WE HAVE A WAITING AREA OUT IN THE GARDEN WHERE YOU CAN WAIT FOR YOUR CHILD.
No spectators will be allowed in or around the pool area as this causes distractions and interruptions to the swimmers.

No classes missed will be caught up unless if it is due to Instructor/Instructors being ill.

No Swimmer or Assistant Swimmer will be allowed to swim if ill, any contagious illness or similar. During Covid 19 a sick letter must be submitted.

Based on the risk being associated with Lightning, classes will be determined by Instructor to ensure safety of swimmers and Instructors at all times.

Swimmers must be on time for classes and classes will start strictly as scheduled swimmer cannot be late more than 5 min for a class.

No swim classes will be presented on Public Holidays/Sundays only if arranged by Instructor, no catch-up classes for public holidays

No catch up due to weather conditions.

Learning Event Timings: During swim class Instructor will be in control of swimmers, no swimmer will be supervised after event timings if not arranged with Instructor and agreed upon.

Security:
. All member with pin entering & exiting need to take responsibility if anyone
enter with.
. Key Holder will be held responsible for any entrance gained by a swimmer.
. Gate Entrance and Exit is monitored on Surveillance Cameras 24/7.
. The gate must always be locked to ensure safety of swimmers.
. No Smoking on the premises of Aqua Kids Swim School.
. Injuries and Emergencies must be reported immediately to Instructor to
react as per Instructor judgment.

. Facilitation Timings:
. Swimmers must be dressed 5 - 10 min before swim class, after dressed
swimmers can wait in allocated areas.
. Instructors will address Disruption, Discipline, and Risks to classes.
. Instructors will only be 10 min present after last class and thereafter gate will
be locked.

• HEALTH & SAFETY:
Proper swimwear should be worn.
No food or drinks near the pool.
No running around the pool area.
Keep pool area clean: Students should dispose of any trash or belongings properly to keep the pool area clean and safe for everyone.
ALL SWIMMERS MUST WEAR SWIMMING CAPS BEFORE ENTERING THE POOL (REGARDLESS OF HAIR LENGTH).
NO OILS, LOTIONS, CREAMS OR MAKE UP ARE ALLOWED TO BE USED OR APPLIED BEFORE THE LESSON.
NO URINATING IN THE POOL.
KINDLY KEEP THE NOISE LEVEL DOWN IN AND AROUND THE SWIMMING POOL AREA (BOTH PARENT & SWIMMERS)
PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SIT AROUND THE POOL OR COACH FROM THE SIDE

I hereby scratch out (Permit/Do not Permit) Aqua Kids Swim
School to use my or my child’s photograph/video recordings to promote Aqua Kids Swim School. I
understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations,
websites, and social media. I also understand that no royalty fee or compensation shall become payable
to me by any reason whatsoever.

I give my consent for him/her to participate in Swimming Lessons (this
includes any water activities) and I take full responsibility for my child's safety and supervision before during and after
utilization of swimming pool at 97 Zuid street, Heidelberg.
I also give my permission that as
Assistant Swimmer take responsibility for themself and are attending swim program at own risk, inside or outside the premises of
Aqua Kids Swim School.
I agree to delegate my authority to the staff and instructors involved. Such teachers and instructors may take disciplinary action
they deem necessary to ensure safety, well-being and successful conduct of the students as a group of individuals in the
abovementioned activity.
I also authorize the teachers and instructors to obtain medical assistance, which they deem necessary should professional medical
assistance be required, and I agree to pay all medical expenses (including ambulance services) incurred on behalf of the student.
I have read the attached cover letter and I am aware of the programme for which my consent is requested.
I submit the attached medical information about the above student and include details of limitations, which he/she has for the
activity concerned.
I further authorized qualified practitioners to administer aesthetic if such an eventually arise.
Aqua Kids Swim School/Personnel/Management take no responsibility for the safety of the client in the absence of supervision
during/after any aquatic activities.

MAKE-UP POLICY:
One makeup session per month is provided, if you submit your absenteeism via WhatsApp 084 628 1062 at least 3 hours before your child’s lesson.
